If God Has Such A Problem With Fornication, Then Why Didn’t He Include Some Dating Tips In The Bible.?
Classic. If you remove emotion from your question, you’ll realize that you don’t have to date to fornicate. Lions and tigers and bears (oh, my!) don’t. In fact, dating only occurs in humans, while fornicating occurs in all walks of life to populate and keep species surviving. I’d say God would have to practically encourage fornicating to keep all of his wonderful creatures off the endangered species list. Start separating God from your Bible, and realize that the Bible was written by men…men with power.
It is certainly difficult to adhere to in modern times, but nevertheless, right is still right.
Ancient people did not “date” in the way we think of it today, is why it is not mentioned in the bible. But we can use the moral guidelines that are very clearly spelled out to infer what our behavior should be in dating scenarios.
there’s lovin’ tips in the bible, the songs of solomon. uber sexy! maybe adultery and premarital sex could be wrong, but then again think about how many murderers and polygamists in the old testament got one way tickets to the pearly gates! He did write about it, Look in the Old Testament, The Song of Solomon where it speaks of longing and desire, and love, and respect, and passion, it is probably the most seductive, sensuous understanding of Men and Women, and what they have to endure through the dating process leading to marriage. Please read it cautiously. God understands us completely, and he wrote about it, you just have to know where to look. As for fornication and struggles with sexual desires, I recommend going to a Bible and Book store and purchasing a book about dating. It will offer many tips and have a lot of ideas that you can use to help keep you out of hot water while searching for a mate.
First of all, wasn’t God to write the bible. But people who believed in him thousands years ago, and at those times life was quite different.
The are no need for tips as ppl change everyday, I mean, can you imagine dating tips from 2000 (or more) years ago? lol
The main rule is always the same and is just “Love”. In the sense that, if you love someone u just don’t feel going with others.
