Your idea makes sense. Young boy children without a father will quickly grab onto a new man because they are desperate to have a father figure. It might be out of your control, so you need to start carefully and watch how the relationship grows. If your relationship with the man falters, your boy will have a problem.
.A wise decision not to introduce your son to uncle/s. The outdoor bonding idea is good. As an adult the guy should take the initiative in bonding to try to overcome any of your son’s inhibitions (if any).Plus you’ll be in a postion to oversee,judge and forment the relationship.Good Luck
