there will be no more love actions and the icon will disappear.
they will just be really good friends.
if hes an NCP you could ask an adult in his family to move in and take him with the adult and wait until he grows.
if hes another family when he grows up, the moment the two sims flirt or kiss there relationship will go back to normal.
the same will happen if hes an NCP

There are a few options here.
I know you probably don’t want to do this but if you buy the “Free Time” expansion pack you are allowed to grow up with up to 5 sims with you. So if you downloaded this pack before she grows up her boyfriend can grow up with her and they can get married.
I know a cheat that will make Jason grow up too. You must invite him over to your house, press “Ctrl+Shift+C” and then type in
“boolprop testingcheatsenabled true” then shift+click on a sim and select “Spawn” then select “Tombstone of L and D” after that a tombstone will appear and you click on it and it will say
“Add to Family…” select Jason and he will become part of your family. Then when Eliza grows up you can shift click on Jason and say “Age Transition” and he will be an adult too. They can fall in love again and move out together and get married!
The last option is to let her grow up and find another man. That’s lame but if you don’t want to cheat or buy a pack she will have to move on

She will grow into an adult amd he won’t…you need to grow him up and grow her up to get married. They will always be best friends if one grows up faster then the other.
