Why Are Most Men Scared Of Dating Pretty Girls?
Hi,
I find that most men ogle at and admire pretty girls. But they shy away at the thought of dating them. Instead they call the pretty girls by different names – ranging from snob to sllut.
Just why? Are they jealous? Or just losers?
I think there might be a lot of girls who just think they’re pretty but really aren’t
I married a pretty girl and believe me, if I can anyone can. Many guys suffer from low self-esteem. I definitely did.
I married a pretty girl who embarrasses me by telling everyone how handsome I supposedly am. I never believed I was anything but a very less than average looking guy. I’ve had my nose broken twice and my face is not symmetrical from years of boxing. I thought she was mocking me when she first said I had “a perfect nose” when she is the one with the perfect nose.
Anyway, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. You all can date or marry beautiful women. The only thing I ever did was ask her out.
It’s because they assume a pretty girl will always be dating because she will have a line of people waiting to date her. They also think it would be too much effort to compete.
They then justify why they are not with the girl by thinking “Well, she probably is really just a ho. She sleeps with all the guys, I mean look at the way she dresses and walks.” It makes them feel better, and like they made the choice not to date her. Kind of sad.
well if its a guy who feels the girl is so pretty he doesnt have a shot, then he will turn away and say those things, attractive girls usually know there attractive, and it usualy gives them an understanding of what they can and can’t have. not true for all pretty girls tho, but a lot of them will strive for the best, instead of settle for normal. so unless its a guy with good looks and charm, dont expect your average joe to come looking for the pretty ones.
Pretty girls can be very mean! If the guy isn’t deemed “worthy” then they will shot the guy down very cruelly.
A lot of them know they are pretty, will use their “pretty”ness and take the guy for all they are worth.
Some of them will do slutty things and can be snobby all in all they can be a drag to be around.
“Worship my beauty,” can only be tolerated for so long.
The girl is probably really slutty or snobby but i have a quote for you. From Wife of Bath in The Canterbury Tales by Chaucer–”To marry a poor woman — she’s expensive; or if her family’s wealthy and extensive you say it’s torture to endure her pride and melancholy airs, and more beside and if she has a pretty face, old traitor you say she’s game for any fornicator.” A pretty woman isn’t chaste and an ugly woman is desperate for anything with any man. Yeah…
I doubt the validity of the question. It assumes most men are scared of dating pretty girls. I see a lot of attached pretty girls. So I guess the guys they are with are not scared.
What’s scary is a girl who think she is pretty but not really. OK maybe she’s pretty but not worth dating like shallow. who would want to date that right?
It actually all depends on the guy. Some guys lack confidence in themselves and call girls names, while other guys believe in themselves and wont have a problem going up to a pretty girl and talking to them. Guys who dont have confidence in themselves can be losers but not all of them are.
coz you can course trouble easy, not only that i wouldnt want alot of guys staring at my gf in that way. be honest how can a person be jealous of looks of the opposite sex example im not jealous of jessica alba, and you always seem to want it your way. dont get me wrong some women are beautiful and fantastic
i think that most men would like to have a pretty gf. but they kno that they dont really have a chance, and so instead of being rejected, they dont ask.They probably call pretty girls names because they know they cant have them and so insult them to show that they are not interested.hope i helped x

Probably because:
1.) They lack self-confidence and don’t think they have a chance with them,
or
2.) They don’t want to deal with the hassle of having other guys constantly coming on to her and (possibly) stealing her away if she gets a better offer.
Ha ha,the little princess girls are just to high maintenance,not all of them but the majority just get to much attention and I am not going to deal with a princess,Im not afraid,the super model look alikes are good for one thing……….use your imagination
i dont know the answer to this but im a pretty descent girl and am scared to try and talk to good looking guys. i always tell myself in the back of my head that they are too good for me, i know i shouldnt but for some reason i just do. :-/
They lack self confidence, They are afraid of rejection. The girls put them down because they are slobs, show ignorance, no manners, uses vulgar language and don’t know how to treat a lady and make her feel she is special.
intimidation, would mainly be a good reason for most men. perhaps the fact that the girls are somewhere between a snob or a slut. it’s fine to ogle any of those, but no one wants to date them usually.
I am afraid of dating pretty girls because frankly I dont see my self as a good looking guy and therefore get very nervous around pretty girls.
But, I would date a pretty girl in a second if the opportunity arose.
They feel insecure and rather think oh I didn’t want her anyway, instead of actually trying and risk being shot down.
There are plenty of men out there secure enough to go after pretty girls, so I wouldn’t generilize if i were you.
They’re intimidated and insecure. Afraid other guys will want to steal her away. Afraid she’ll be tempted by other guys. Total inferiority complex.
I’m not sure. I’m guessing it’s because they think or know that those types of girls will most likely reject them so they cover up their insecurity by calling them names.
Their probably afraid of rejection. They think that their not good enough or that someone so pretty would never date them or something like that
they are intimated. in reality, that kind of man has some kind of inferiority complex and does not really think that he is good enough.
Pretty girls tend to be absolute attention-seeking, tedious b!tches, that’s why.

I don’t date pretty girls, but I’ll sell them the dream that I will date them.

Because it is suspicious for a pretty girl to be single. Something must be wrong with her.
