City Girl Needs Tips For Dating A Country Man?
I’m a city girl who just started dating a country man a couple days ago. We’ve known each other for 2 months but had our first kiss on New Year’s in the movie theatre. Lots of affectionate hand holding as well. But nothing more. It was very sweet and romantic! That was also our first “date”. He’s from the country. Grew up dairy farming, still lives on the family farm and helps out his dad, but works in the city during the week as an executive. Any insights into what kind of man I’m dealing with? What I should expect in terms of how the relationship develops? I really like him and would like things to continue developing. So any “dating” tips would be welcome! Thanks!
City girls talk too fast, and need to slow down! In the city, everything is fast paced and quite overwhelming. When you live in the country, things are more relaxed, people speak a bit more slowly and they pause more, to think about what they are going to say. In the city, if there is a long pause people think “Oh there’s something wrong with her/ him”…In the country, people are more relaxed and more comfortable with silence…..
there are no tips just two people who have some interests get to know him and him you just cause hes from the country dont mean hes not classy its geografical differances and good luck ballet and trctors can be fun
County guys are a lot more laid back and slower paced than city guys, just let him lead and you follow, it could be fun
Amazing he goes from city to country. This must really be a great guy. Just treat each other well and be ready to smell manure. Dairy farms are really ripe. But he must not have cows if he is gone all week. Or he has hired the milking out to someone.
Most farmer/ranchers are honorable, upright and decent people.

well he likely isn’t that different from any other guy , other than fact he lives in country and has rural roots .
if he’s dating you and your not country , don’t see why you think he is so different . he doesn’t sound that rural if he works in city during week .

That is so adorable!! All I can really tell you is that he sounds like a real genuine guy, and you should keep him around. I bet you have a lot more in common than you think!
well i know what you mean on wantin advice about what type of guy he is, but country boys are very diff from each other, some are into the family, and some are into good times and beer and hot chicks. its hard to tell you what to expect from him. but i can tell you whatever he is into he would love to teach you it or show you it on his own and in his own way and time. country boys hide alot about themselves because they dont want to be made fun of. so let him know your interested and dont be so girly if he offers you help milk the cows or be inside the fence w/the animals. and if your against hunting let him know now, no need for surprises at huntin season, ask him to teach you how to shout guns clean the animals stuff he knows how to do, that you want to learn about. but don’t make it into a city vs country thing. that makes all country people mad. bake something for his mom if you ever go to the homestead.. enjoy country livin is fun
