It took me from valentines day to the week of thanksgiving. I was on over 7 sites by the time I met someone. I went on one time dates about one a week on average. Most of the time I said hello first. When I did not have a picture, I got much fewer responses. It only took me our second date to know I only wanted him. I was 44 when I first joined, 46 when we got married… I was also honest and when asked about my ex I said he would kill whoever I was with, I believed it. So when I told the one I am with he only laughed… then when he said he would kill my husband on our wedding day, he said he would always protect his family. We were married 6 months ago. I did not like eharmony, too many who were materialistic… match was good… american singles I met no one on… yahoo personals is harder, but you can find good people… great expectations gave me great pictures, but no dates, you spend too much thinking it will get you someone… one seemed like a sex dating site… another was just starting and had nothing but wrong information on who liked you… after all the ones I paid for, I found my husband on plentyoffish.
It took us 2 months to meet. we lived 3000 miles away though, and was quite a fluke that we met online. We talked on the phone alot though before we met..sometimes all night. Are you planning on meeting a online love? good luck.
We didnt meet through online dating but we met on a chatline. As far as I know neither one of us had called it more than a couple time. We have been married 5 years on the 16th and are expecting our 2nd child. Good Luck!
