Any Tips On Dating A Current-mexican Citizen Who Lives And Works In The Us.?
I met a really nice Mexican guy at church and for the first time I don’t know at all what to expect. I’m still working on my Spanish, but his English is a bit better than my Spanish, so we have great times holding a conversation 
~, and so I’m curious about how the Mexican culture is on dating. I know Mexican doesn’t quite sum it up because a lot of Mexican guys live and even grew up in the US, but this guy has only been in the US for 3 years, he’s early 30s; he came on a vacation with his brother and decided to stay and work; he may have a permit. He says he is a citizen of Mexico and doesn’t desire to be a US citizen.
My minor is Spanish and I’m working my way to fluency, so I know I love all the Spanish cultures I’ve learned about so far, my understanding of the Mexican families are that they are close and strong; something I very much enjoy being around and would like to have one day.
So, any tips on dating a Mexican guy and what to expect?

in traditional Mexican families, the male proposes 1st to the girl’s parents for a marriage proposal. since u guys seem pretty modern, maybe ur casually dating. so don’t let the family thing freak u out. lol
Mexicans can date any race: white, black, brown. we’re probably the most open people when it comes to dating other ethnicities.
I agree with my mom foo! (also kidding!) but don’t expect much from him if he doesn’t want to stay in the U.S reason being? he may have a wife and children in mexico that he doesnt want you to know about.
